Mitchell Rangers Senior Women had their first match of the season in State League 4 against Docklands Athletic FC.
With recent promotion and an influx of new players, the girls impressed and took the opposition right to the final whistle, narrowly losing 2-1.
“The positive attitude and never say die spirit the women played with, will make for an entertaining season. Special mentions to Sarah Warren who scored her first goal for the season,” Coach Cameron Leffley said.

Our Men’s Thirds kicked off for the first time in years at 5pm.
The boys were 4-0 down at half time but have put up a good fight against a formidable PEGS side.
