Kilmore was privileged to witness the RAAF fly over the township during their memorial services, too.

ANZAC Day is a significant occasion in many communities, throughout Australia and New Zealand, where it commemorates the sacrifices made by ANZAC soldiers.

The dawn service holds particular significance, symbolizing the moment when
the ANZAC troops landed on the shores of Gallipoli in 1915.

Dawn services, remembrance ceremonies, and marches are traditional ways communities commemorate Anzac Day.

The remembrance ceremonies allowed communities to come together to honour
the fallen, often featuring readings, prayers, and the laying of wreaths.
