The Macedon Ranges Music Festival is set to return on March 25, with Hanging Rock to host live music from a range of renowned artists and performers.
With a lineup fronted by ARIA Hall of Fame members Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, the one-day festival will release only 1200 tickets and is expected to sell out for another year.
Joining the Black Sorrows will be a range of artists including Vaudeville Smash, Velvet Bloom, and One Spirit Africa, while entertainment will be available including a jumping castle and face painting for kids and food trucks, stalls and a bar for adults.
Festival director Jimmy O’Hare said the festival promised to be a special occasion.
“This has to be one of the most fun line-ups we’ve put together yet, with every act bound to bring a different energy to the state,” he said.
“Getting to catch these great bands at a place like Hanging Rock is just magical.”
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting community development projects in regional Cambodia, and the festival will also serve as a fundraiser for the Cambodian Kids Foundation.
Tickets are $45 for adults, while kids under five can enter free. For more information and tickets, visit www.macedonrangesmusicfestival.org.
