The State Government is investing $25.4 million into small-scale projects at schools around Victoria.

Schools can apply for three different types of funding: $150,000 for small-scale projects, $350,000 for student inclusion projects and $600,000 for larger-scaled projects.

These allocations could include maintenance like roof repairs or oval upgrades, or even new facilities or playgrounds.

Student inclusion streams seek to make schools more accessible for students with disability, by allocating funding for all-inclusive playgrounds or accessible ramps.

Schools have until June 12 to apply for the grants.

Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes said these projects will make a serious impact.

“Schools in northern Victoria can apply for these grants to get them in tip-top shape for local students,” Ms Symes said.

“Whether a school is large or small, these upgrades make a big difference.”

Since 2024, the government has supported 146 schools through the Capital Works Fund.
