THE City Of Whittlesea has opened up its Community Grants program, available until the end of April next year.
A large number of grants are available across multiple different categories, including individual grants up to $1500, an unincorporated group grant up to $1500, small grants up to $5000, medium grants up to $20,000, large grants up to $40,000 and emergency grant up to $2000.
The City of Whittlesea are also holding in-person information sessions in July and August, with council encouraging residents to register for a session to learn more about grant guidelines and how you can be supported.
Four sessions and a grant workshop will be held – the first in South Morang at Council’s offices on Monday, July 27 from 10 to 11am, followed by a session at Donnybrook’s Murnong Community Centre on Thursday, July 30 from 10.30 to 11.30am, Thomastown at HR Uren Community Pavilion on Tuesday, August 4 from 10.30 to 11.30am and Mernda at the Mernda Social Support Centre on Wednesday, August 5 from 5.30 to 6.30pm.
The grant writing workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at the Galada Community Centre in Epping from 6 to 8pm with a cost of $5 per participant.
