Broadford and Wandong residents can expect slight disruptions from now until late November as drainage and sewer investigation works are undertaken in and around each town’s respective train stations.

Carried out by contractor John Holland, the works form part of Inland Rail’s Beveridge to Albury project, which will see 262km of existing rail track upgraded and the removal, construction, or raising of bridges along the line to allow double stacked freight trains to pass through the area.

Until November 29, specialist contractors will complete day works between 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday, and night works between 7pm–6am.

Locals are reminded to adhere to speed restrictions near the works. Door knocks to notify residents of impacting works will occur ahead of time.
