Join the Romsey Neighbourhood House for a day of vibrant fun at their upcoming Resident’s Expo.

This weekend, the Romsey Mechanics’ Institute will be buzzing with excitement as residents gather to shine a spotlight on an array of local organisations, clubs, groups, societies, and local businesses that make the community thrive.

Held this Sunday, May 19 from 11am-3pm, the community is invited to immerse themselves in a festival atmosphere filled with laughter, delicious food, and fun activities.

Whether you are a longtime resident or new to the area, there is something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

The event will feature an array of market stalls and entertaining activities, including a jumping castle, fairy floss, balloons, and much more.

While kids bounce, parents can indulge in a mouthwatering snag from the Lion’s Club, some tummy-warming soup from the Romsey Neighbourhood House, and a free beer from The Lost Watering Hole.

For a quick bite, head a few doors down to the Community Co-Op Café for a delicious Devonshire tea, a hot coffee, or other treat from their fabulous menu.

Romsey Neighbourhood House Manager Michelle Balthazar said that many of the local groups participating in the expo ‘run on a shoestring budget’ and rely on members of the community to succeed.

“This event is an opportunity for our residents to discover ways they can get involved,” she said.

“Whether you are interested in sports, arts, or community service, there’s bound to be a something that aligns with your interests.”

As you explore the event, keep in mind the local businesses – the heartbeat of the community. Be sure to visit each stall, and discover an array of unique products and services to enjoy while supporting the local economy.

This event is proudly brought to you by Romsey Neighbourhood House and Bendigo Bank.
