THE next stage of the Northern Highway intersection upgrade has begun in Wallan, with motorists told to expect a 10-minute delay on the Watson Street western side while works continue.
Construction started at 7pm on Sunday night, and will run through to 5.30am on Monday, July 20, with Watson Street closed between the Northern Highway/High Street section and Wellington Street.
Motorists are asked to detour via Queen or Duke Streets and Wellington Street.
Recent works were also completed late on the weekend.
Safety barriers were installed between 7pm on Sunday and 5.30am on Monday, with the northbound lane closed on the Northern Highway and High Street.
