THE SES Kilmore Unit has provided an update on continued works that are happening at its soon-to-be-opened headquarters at 114 Powlett Street.
The Unit announced on social media that a number of breakthroughs have been made as part of the works, with brickwork and stud framing now completed.
A rough-in of electrical, communications and other services have also been completed, with the internal wall linings going through the building. The roof and communications antennas have also been installed, as well as the rear roller doors, which means the vehicle bays are also coming together.
At present, the installation of eaves, roof flashings and external metal cladding is continuing, as is window installation.
Stormwater detention tanks have also been installed underground.
The Unit is currently counting down to the opening of the facility, while their current building at 24 Green Street will remain as is.
