Organisers have secured playing venues at the Royal Oak Hotel in Kilmore, Broadford Golf Club, and the Prince of Wales in Seymour for their family friendly atmosphere and its competition includes six division one teams and five in division two.

Terran Crispin is the statistician officer, and he has shared the opening rounds results with the Review.

In division one, the Kings defeated the Tigers 11 – 0 at Seymour. A highlight was Seth Kilroy’s and Crispin’s 180’s to help the Kings put four points on the scoreboard.

The Taipans, at Kilmore were defeated by the visiting team, BadAss, 10 -1, as Peter Myles recorded one of the highest check outs, 110.

Captain Anthony Wallis has been playing for 17 years said: “It’s a team effort. Watch out for the Taipans, they came up from division two.”

Wallis may have hit the bullseye since Jake Douglas’s high checkout matched Myles and Scott Mitchell was bang on with a 180.

Finishing third on the ladder, the Phil Ins defeated the Aces at Broadford, 8 to 3. Phil Dally’s high score of 174 and a 180 certainly helped.

The Golf Club Aces, Taipans and Tigers finished in the bottom three positions, respectively.

In division two, the Rascals played hooky with a bye, so no points. However, the Bushrangers defeated Dart Vaders, 6 -5 with the Kilroy family playing good darts.

Dan Kilroy hit the highest checkout, 52, and father and son, Steve and Jackson Kilroy each recorded the highest score, 140 on par with Peter Brown from the opposition. The Dart Vaders finished third on the ladder.

In between, Eazy Beats and Diva’s played and the Diva’s finished in front, 6-3 to claim second on the new ladder due to a percentage win of 200.
