NORTH Melbourne Kangroos players were in Broadford last week collaborating with the Broadford Football Club and Dulux.
Five Kangaroo AFL players were in attendance: Jy Simpkin, Griffin Logue, Tom Powell, Dylan Stephens and Colby Mckercher.
It presented as a good opportunity for the kids to be apart of a small training session with the players and then mingle with them afterwards.
The juniors ran some field and goal kicking drills, had time for autographs and photos and some were apart of club videos.
The day was made possible through the Dulux Colour Your Club program which helps football clubs refresh their clubrooms and community spaces that play an important role in bringing people together.
The link between North Melbourne and Broadford was additionally helped by the Broadford Coach, Nathan Thompson, who used to play AFL for North Melbourne.
It was a positive day for both clubs, bringing more attention to a local club looking to grow for the future.
