LAURIMAR Primary School is in line for a big investment if Labor is re-elected next month.
State Member for Yan Yean Lauren Kathage announced that $11 million would be invested to upgrade the school with modern, fit-for-purpose facilities.
Ms Kathage said it was a big announcement for students and families at Laurimar.
“Laurimar Primary means a lot to local families, and our kids deserve the best possible place to learn,” she said.
“This $11 million upgrade will give students and teachers better, more modern learning spaces and make a real difference to school life.”
Minister for Education Gabrielle Williams said Laurimar deserved equal opportunities.
“Labor knows every great education starts with a great local school,” she said.
