“Beveridge Primary School’s Education Support team makes sure no student falls through the gaps, supporting 870 students across two campuses with daily wellbeing check-ins, small-group sessions and individual counselling. Led by two wellbeing education support leaders, the 29-member team runs ‘wellbeing afternoons’ for students who need extra help with regulation, resilience and social connection. Students can take part in sport, gardening, cooking, mindfulness, art, social groups and Minecraft,” the bio reads.

“The team uses attendance, behaviour and engagement data to identify students who need support, working closely with teachers, families and outside services. It also helps families with practical needs, including food and uniforms. The approach is delivering results. In 2025, 85 per cent of students responded positively to questions about self-regulation and goal setting in the annual Attitudes to School Survey. The school also received a 90 per cent trust rating from colleagues in the 2025 School Staff Survey.”
