PIGEON racing continued in Mildura across the weekend, while a club race from Bendigo was also held. Nine members from the Wallan Kilmore club flew, with 45 flyers and 828 birds taking part with a south-south-westerly breeze.
Cavanagh and Anderson performed the strongest from the club, finishing 17th, while A Cocks and family finished 24th, and Jerzy Gregorzek finished 28th. In Bendigo, nine flyers and 325 birds took part, with A Cocks and family taking the win, with the only bird going over 1000 metres per minute, while Les Morris finished second and Mike Scandolera finished third.
