THE first homes are nearing completing at the new Kilmore community, Broadstead. The area will bring more than 500 new homes to Victoria’s oldest inland town.

Broadstead’s design aims to continue the established, rural character for Kilmore, contributing to its growth in a considered manner. And better yet, the construction of some of its first homes are being led by locals.

Brent Littlewood and Shannon Wall are Kilmore locals and about to finish the first home at Broadstead and think the future is bright in the town.

“We really believe in the future of Kilmore and what a fantastic place this area is to call home. We’re proud to be local builders, delivering homes to people who become our neighbours,” Ms Wall said.

“Broadstead really appeals to us as it is in a great part of Kilmore. I was born and raised here and it is a fantastic place to live – you’re close to the city, but have a proper country town feel,” Mr Littlewood said.
