THE second round of the Victorian Racing Pigeon Union was held in Birchip, with a strong field taking part.
Forty-five flyers took part in a strong north-westerly wind, with 1431 birds taking part, flying to a top speed of 1885 metres per minute.
Jerzy Gregorzek was the best-performed out of members from the Wallan Kilmore Homing Club, taking the club gong with a 30th placed finish, while Charlie Grech finished 31st and Anthony Cocks 36th to claim second and third among club members.
