KILMORE had a much-needed win on the weekend against Kinglake in its NFNL division three matchup.
Six scoring shots to two saw Kilmore with a nine-point lead after the first quarter in front of a busy Kilmore club rooms for Ladies Day.
Coming off four losses in their last five games, the blues were adamant to put the foot down in the second quarter, keeping their opponents scoreless adding another 24 points themselves.
Darcy Baldwin-Potton kicked an elite goal from the pocket on his left foot to stretch the lead from the Lakers, as they went into the main break with a comfortable 33-point margin.

The third term sparked some fightback for Kinglake, but the Blues were again too good around the ground and extended their lead to 42 points at the final break.
The six-goal last quarter consisted of two from the away team at JJ Clancy Reserve, with Kilmore finishing in style in front of the busy pavilion.

They walked away with a 59-point win kicking 12.22 (94) to 5.5 (35) in a rather inaccurate but dominant display for the Blues.
The best for the day included Ryan Bailey, Lachlan Peggie, Chris Barton, Baldwin-Potton, Jaden Smith, Ryan Johnson for the Blues.

They move to seventh on the ladder in the 11-team competition going above Epping who was forced to abandon their match after a horrific accident in the reserves.
