FOLLOWING Nic Brooks’s resignation from the City of Whittlesea Council, the byelection date for the Thomastown ward has been set for May.
Confirmation of the exact date will be set by the Victorian Electoral Commission in early March.
The vote, as it was with the Lalor ward byelection last year, will be conducted by post, with 14,000 people enrolled in the ward.

Residents and ratepayers within the ward must be enrolled correctly by 4pm on Wednesday, March 18.
