HISTORY was made over the weekend in the Kilmore fourths side as five members of the same family took the field in a win over Kyneton.

Callum, Tim, Lachlan, Hamish and Jen Peggie all pulled on the uniform, contributing significantly to the win.

Lachlan got the game going, hitting 43 runs to set up the Kilmore innings.

Hamish found himself slightly down the order but still contributed heavily with a 30-run score.

Then Callum came in late, to contribute 21 off 12 balls to put some further pressure on the visitors.

They set a total of 165, but Kyneton weren’t going home without a push.

Lucas Arnup batted nicely, top scoring for the day with 51, but wickets began to fall around him, including a runout duck and two players gone for just one run.

Kilmore secured the victory by 12 runs in a fantastic day for cricket and the Peggie family makes history, winning with five family members on one team.
