NEARLY 300 hectares of farm land have hit the market in Beveridge with the capacity to house over 4,500 residential lots.
The area, which sits between Old Sydney Road and Beveridge’s Mandalay Estate, is made up of two adjoining landholdings at 630 and 710 Old Sydney Road which are on offer as a package deal or to be sold separately.
The area sits within the Beveridge South West precinct which is earmarked to have between 8000 and 12,000 homes as well as a town centre and primary and secondary schooling opportunities.
Beveridge is expected be home to more than 100,000 people before 2050, becoming the largest suburb in the Mitchell Shire.
The precinct is part of Horizon 2 of the Victorian Government’s 27 new growth plans, set to be completed by 2033.
Interested buyers have until November 24 to submit an offer.
