THE Kilmore Art Expo returns next weekend with a dedicated preview night and two days of exquisite artworks to enjoy, and to buy at the Memorial Hall in Kilmore.
The Expo includes a range of quality paintings, photography, and sculpture, and celebrates the exceptional art by our local artists, and also established and well-recognised works from artists around Victoria and interstate.
The Expo has been running since 2008 and offers almost $9,000 in prizes.
Preview Night
On Friday, April 11, enjoy live music alongside the gallery of wonderful artwork.
Local Kilmore singer-songwriter, Amelia Vlasveld, also known as Valeida will perform live on stage and another focus of the evening is the sponsor presentation of the major art awards.
Kilmore Art Expo Director Cheryl Eve said the variety and range of art on display demonstrates the emerging artistic talent in our local area.
“The Expo wants to support and encourage all of our young artists to explore their talent,” she said.
“There is a dedicated youth section with works from artists aged six through to 18 years.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the award-winning artwork and meet the artists while enjoying live music, wonderful food, drinks, and good company.”
The doors open at 6.30pm and the awards are presented at 7.30pm. Tickets are available for $30 online, or on the night, visit www.kilmoreartexpo.com.au/event/58176/art-expo-preview-evening-2025.
