Kilmore businesswoman Elisha Webber is the owner and founder of Silver Penny Puddings, and this Christmas her range of traditional puddings and companion sauces are set to elevate festive menus and make oh-so-suitable gifts.

In partnership with the famous Four Pillars Gin Distillery in Healesville, Ms Webber has created the Christmas Gin Pudding so you can enjoy the best of their Christmas gin, enhanced with oranges, and combined with Ms Webber’s prize-winning puddings.

“I take a lot of pride in the ingredients that I use in the products, and I use suet, not butter,” she said.

“That’s my claim to fame, it’s a traditional ingredient. It’s light and creates a luscious flavour.

“I [also] always use beautiful, free-range eggs. I’m pretty picky about my eggs.”

Only quality Australian produce is used, and there are no added colours, flavours, or additives in any of the traditional Christmas puddings. The chocolate fig and orange pudding is a crowd favourite, along with the sticky date and walnut pudding. They are each available in four sizes ranging from 100g to 900g, and priced between $8–$46.

Traditional companion sauces available include butterscotch, chocolate velvet, and spiced brandy in 100ml or 200ml servings, priced between $6.50–$10.

The taster gift box is a perfect hamper gift and includes a little taste of the entire range for just $50.

Ms Webber adores her products and aims to deliver goodies everyone will love, and will even arrange alternative sizes and private branding on request for wholesale purchases.

“It’s nice to meet your customers, to see where your products are going and make sure it’s the right fit,” she said.

“My packaging is different, so they stand out from a standard pudding wrapped in calico.

“Inside the tin is a pudding basin, and they can stack beautifully on the shelf or in a hamper, and they can be stacked into a Christmas tree shape.”

Gluten-free products are also available. All ingredients, nutritional information, and serving sizes are listed on the label and the Silver Penny Puddings website, where you can also look up your nearest stockist.

Ms Webber encouraged locals to avoid shipping costs, which are automatically added to online shopping carts, by emailing their orders directly to info@silverpennypuddings.com.au.

The aromas wafting out of Ms Webber’s home must be amazing, and now locals can recreate them at their very own festive event, or anytime of the year!
