With just one week to go until Victoria’s Inquiry Into Women’s Pain survey closes, local women are being urged to share their experiences with pain and treatment within the state’s healthcare system.
The survey is open to all women and all experiences of pain and its relevant care, treatment, or service.
As of last month, the survey had recorded more than 9000 responses.
Member for Northern Victoria Jacyln Symes encouraged locals to participate in the survey, stating that it was time to recognise the unsatisfactory treatment of women and improve upon the poor services many women had experienced.
“This inquiry is a chance to make sure your voice is heard and achieve better care for women across our state,” she said.
“By sharing your ideas and experiences, you can help us close the gender pain gap.”
The survey will be open until Wednesday, July 31. To participate, visit www.engage.vic.gov.au/inquiry-into-womens-pain-survey.
