A COUNCIL plant and equipment clearance auction is being held within the Mitchell Shire in the coming weeks.
The one-off event is conducted by Nutrien Ag Solutions on behalf of the council and is set to clear excess plant, equipment and operational assets from the council’s Seymour and Broadford depots.
Items include plant and civil equipment, farming and agricultural machinery, minor equipment, generators, tyres, culverts and pipes, portable offices and more.
There will be a previewing day on Friday, June 12 from 10am until 2pm, held at both the Seymour and Broadford depots.
Official auction day will be Friday, June 19.
Broadford is set to open at 8am with the auction starting at 10am and Seymour is set to open at 12pm, and the auction starts at 1.30pm.
Bidders can register on the day at each location.
Money raised from the sales will be reinvested into renewing end-of-life assets, and the continued delivery of maintenance across the Mitchell Shire.
Items that are not sold on the day will be relisted online through a national auction provider or disposed of in accordance with council’s standard disposal processes.
