THE Seymour Performers Workshop struck gold with its latest production, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
On Saturday night, a packed house came together to witness the delightful musical, filled with fun, fantasy and a whole lot of chocolate.
Audiences were wowed by 11-year-old Livani Palmer, who shone in her debut musical theatre performance as Charlie Bucket.
Despite her young age, Palmer delivered a heartfelt and charming portrayal that earned her rousing applauses.
Robert Kemp dazzled as the enigmatic Willy Wonka, bringing charisma, charm, and just the right amount of mystery to the beloved chocolatier.
A seasoned performer, Mr Kemp anchored the show with his commanding stage presence and magnetic energy.
And of course, the performance featured an adorable troupe of Oompa Loompas who nearly stole the show with their colourful costumes and cheeky choreography.
The musical numbers were lively, accompanied by a vibrant set and a performance steeped in the magic of Roald Dahl’s world.
You can witness Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yourself this weekend with your family, with performances on Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Final tickets are available at www.spworkshop.org.au/charlie.
