ANZAC Day services will be held around the district to commemorate those who served.

In Doreen, the RSL will hold their ANZAC Day dawn service at the corner of Painted Hills Road and Armidale Road, with arrival set at 5.15 am and the service starting at 5.50 am. Following the service Laurimar Football Club will host a gunfire breakfast and two-up.

Whittlesea will hold their dawn service at 5.30 am at the Arch Monument in Walnut Street. A gunfire breakfast will follow the service.

A march will begin at the Whittlesea Bowls Club at 2.30 pm, with assembly at 2pm, with a march to the Arch Monument and the Soldiers Monument in Church Street. A service will follow, before returning to the Bowls Club.
