AFTER a successful 2024 Building Winter Champions through their Choose Tap campaign, Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) is again offering sponsorship support to youth-based organisations with the supply of new drink bottles.

Last year over 40 junior sporting clubs, including football, netball, basketball, and soccer clubs, along with primary schools, Girl Guide and Scout groups took advantage of the sponsorship offer.

Groups are being encouraged to apply through the online form but will need to act quickly as there are only 3000 bottles available through the program.

GVW Managing Director Steve Capewell said the sponsorship program promotes sustainability.

“Our winter drink bottle give-away is a small way of supporting junior participants in sport and community activity, while also promoting the Choose Tap message to the next generation,” he said.

Any junior organisation—sporting or otherwise is eligible and GVW will supply all successful applicants with a maximum of 100 water bottles for its membership base. Applications open on Wednesday, April 14 and close on Friday, May 16. To apply, visit www.gvwater.vic.gov.au/community/sponsorship.
