ANNE Jolic has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Development Victoria.

Leading the State Government’s development arm, which helps to deliver thousands of homes right across the state, Ms Jolic brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in the private sector and property industry.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, she has led diverse multi-disciplinary teams to deliver award-winning projects.

In her most recent role as Head of Operations at Lendlease, she oversaw a $4.1 billion portfolio of complex projects spanning mixed-use developments, residential, commercial, retail, and build-to-rent projects.

Chair Development Victoria Angela Skandarajah welcomed Ms Jolic to the team.

“Anne brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to our team,” she said.

“The board is looking forward to working with Anne and the executive as we work together to create impact for our state and our people.”

Ms Jolic stated her excitement at leading Development Victoria through its next era.

“Development Victoria’s project list in both delivery and pipeline over the next five years is immense,” she said.

“I am excited to lead the organisation in this next phase, working with our partners to deliver critical housing supply and continuing to deliver great places that all Victorians can be proud of.”

Minister for Development Victoria and Precincts Harriet Shing was looking forward to working together with Ms Jolic.

“Anne Jolic brings decades of experience in delivering major projects to her new role as chief executive, … and I look forward to working with Anne as we get on with delivering more opportunities for Victorians right across the state,” she said.

Ms Jolic is well placed to lead Development Victoria to revitalise urban areas and unlock government land, create cultural and recreational facilities, and build diverse, affordable, and sustainable communities.

This includes working closely with the State Government to unlock and rezone surplus government land, enabling the delivery of approximately 9000 homes across 45 sites in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Development Victoria will continue to partner with government, industry, and communities to deliver transformative projects like the iconic Fitzroy Gasworks.
