Gift-giving is in full swing at a local business in Kilmore, who, in between taking motel bookings, is also preparing to bring some magic to the town this Christmas.
Fox on the Run Manager Louise Fowler-Schafer sure is one to get excited about Christmas decorations, and up they will go on December 1 to wow locals and visitors travelling through the area.
In addition to the lights and decorations, overnight visitors to the motel will be treated to an edible Christmas wreath on their door handle.
Closer to Christmas, one lucky motel room will be chosen at random to receive a mystery Christmas hamper.
To further spread some festive cheer, just for the kids, Ms Fowler-Schafer and her elves will be making up special gift baskets for children to call in and collect on Saturday, December 7, from 10am–12pm. The gift baskets will contain stickers, lollies, drawings to colour in, and games to play.
Ms Fowler-Schafer said there will be 70 gift baskets, and it’s a case of first in, first served, so be quick!
