The State Government is making kindergartens inclusive for children of all abilities via grants to upgrade early childhood education centres and buy specialist equipment, so that every child can get the best start to their education.

Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn recently announced the latest round of the Building Blocks Inclusion Grants, which aims to make kindergartens safe and inclusive learning environments for all children.

Through the inclusion stream of the Building Blocks program, kindergartens can apply for grants of up to $200,000 to upgrade buildings and playgrounds to make them more inclusive for children of all needs and abilities.
