Coles Seymour store will reopen this week following the damage from last year’s floods.
Coles Seymour Store Manager Caz Watson said that the local community has been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the store, which will welcome back 102 team members, including 15 brand new ones.
“Coles Seymour is a community location and the locals have been waiting excitedly for the renovated store to open once again,” Ms Watson said.
“Just prior to the Seymour floods last year we had launched our new home delivery service which was well received by customers who were able to save both time and money by having their shop delivered to their door.
That service will be back served by our store, along with our huge range of new amenities like the Frozen dessert bar, Pet treat bar and the new range of bakery goods.”
To mark the opening, the store will also be donating $5000 to St Marys College to help fund the school’s Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation program. The Stephanie Alexander Foundation aims to support teachers and educators to enhance their kitchen garden classes.
Coles Seymour is located at 18 Tallarook Street, Seymour and will officially launch on Friday April 21 at 9am. The store will be open 7am to 10pm daily.
