SATURDAY afternoon golf at Broadford saw the final of the time-honored Dolf Zwar match play tournament.
The tournament was for 32 players who qualified in February.
Over many years the event has been won by many stalwarts from the club, including Ian Newton who has won three times.
This year’s final was between Joe Mirabella and Ian Parry, who won last year’s trophy.
Both players had won their respective four matches to make the final with many results tight and could have gone either way.
Parry is a four-time winner of the event, and has also came runner-up three times – each time losing to Ian Newton.
The final result on Saturday was a win to Parry four and three.
