OUR Very Important Pet of the Week is Halle, a female Manchester Terrier almost aged four.
The breed dates back to centuries ago when it was crossed with a Whippet, and they were great at catching rats.
The smallish canine has been a mum once. However, riding on the tails of her owners commitment she is also close to becoming a grand champion under the pedigree name Helybary OMG Its Halle Berry.
Halles owners Ian and Lee said she is 300 points away from being the grand champion in the FCI Asia, Africa and Oceania Section (A2O) Dog Shows. As at March 26, Halle is Australian Champion on 700 points.
โBut sheโs not going to get there โฆ Itโs a lot of expense and with the cost of fuel at the moment โฆHalle has a loving nature and she eats just about anything.โ
