WITH National Tree Day falling on July 26, Willowmavin Primary School students got creative on Tuesday, with all children planting a tree around the schoolyards.
State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland was in attendance, helping to run a leadership session for grade fives and sixes, before all students gathered outside to plant trees.
The day was made possible thanks to the Mitchell Shire Council’s Plants for Schools Grant.

All students enjoyed the afternoon’s proceedings, and to top it off, they received hot chocolates from student parents for their efforts.
