THE Goulburn Valley Highway is currently undergoing maintenance works between Nagambie and Seymour, with lane closures and reduced speed limits in place.

The fix comes at a much-needed time, given it is a key agricultural connector in the Hume region to major transport hubs.

The works come inbetween current works where potholes have been repaired, with the state government claiming over 83,000 potholes have been repaired between July 1 and September 22.
