MITCHELL Majors had a setback before A3-grade finals and dropped down to fourth place with a first semi-final on the agenda against Footscray.
Taking on top team Greenhills Montmorency, the ladder-leaders were ruthless in delivering an 11-1 victory, which dropped Majors from second to fourth thanks to results going the way of Knox and Footscray.
It now means Majors travel to McIvor Reserve this Saturday.

The A4-grade team couldn’t finish its season off on a positive note, as it was shut out by Greenhills Montmorency, losing 12-0.
Majors finished the season in eighth position, ahead of North Balwyn and Greensborough.
