MITCHELL Majors are back on the winners’ list in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League, climbing back up to third in A3-grade.
Majors scored a solid 6-1 victory over Footscray, allowing them to leapfrog their opponents back into third position, while Footscray move back to fourth.
It was a reversal in A4-grade however, with Footscray taking victory and stopping the Majors’ recent good run of form, taking a 10-4 victory.

With two rounds to go, Majors will get an early look at the finals atmosphere in the lead-up for A3-grade, taking on second-placed Knox this weekend away from home, before travelling to top team Greenhills Montmorency for the final game of the home-and-away campaign.
