KUMON has now opened in Donnybrook to help children develop confidence in the basics of mathematics and reading.

Kumon Donnybrook Education Centre is led by Meera Suratwala, who owns and operates the nearby Kumon centre in Wollert. Meera is a passionate advocate of the Kumon Method and chose to open a second centre to support children in the local community.

“Opening a second Kumon centre feels right because it aligns with my passion for helping children succeed,” she said.

“I believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop their full potential, and a second centre allows us to serve more families and build stronger community connections.”

Meera says that the individualised nature of Kumon, whereby each student progresses at their own pace, will be a great benefit for local students.

“The Kumon programme is the perfect platform for students to progress at their own pace, allowing advanced learners to move ahead while providing additional support for those who need reinforcement of core concept,” she said.

Kumon Donnybrook Education Centre operates from Murnong Community Centre, 183 Olivine Boulevard, Donnybrook. Classes are run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3.30 to 6.30pm.
