Police are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in Yan Yean that happened last Tuesday night.
Emergency services responded to reports of a car leaving the road, hitting an embankment and then crashing into a tree on Arthurs Creek Road about 10.30pm.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

The circumstances of the crash are currently under investigation.
This year, 105 lives have been lost on the roads in Victoria.
