A driver and 2-year-old child have had a lucky escape after their vehicle collided with the wheelchair accessible railing at Kilmore McDonalds.

Early last week, a female driver travelling north along Kilmore’s Sydney Street veered off the road following a suspected medical episode.

Passers-by quickly came to her and the child’s assistance, smashing a window to retrieve both and rendering first aid. Emergency services attended the scene shortly after and took the driver to hospital for observations. No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.
