Operator Visy is excited to announce that the Wandong Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) is now up and running.

Officially opened last Tuesday, residents will find the newest RVM located at the Wandong Centre, 3307A Epping-Kilmore Road, close to opposite of the Wandong Station.

The community can bring their eligible drink containers to the CDS Vic Wandong Centre RVM and receive a refund of 10 cents per container. The refund can be redeemed as a cash voucher refundable at Coles Supermarket, via an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or as a donation to a charity.

Visy Container Deposit Scheme General Manager Tim O’Donnell said the expansion of the scheme would benefit the local community.

“We’re expanding our network of refund points in the Mitchell Shire Council to make recycling easy and rewarding for all,” he said.

Other nearby CDS points include a depot at 127A Northern Highway, an over-the-counter drop-off point available at 104 Powlett Street, Kilmore, and RVM at the Kilmore Village.

The community can find their nearest refund point and access their electronic refunds through the CDS Vic North app for iOS or Android.
