The Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club (MRSC) would like to show their appreciation for their 2024 major sponsors, Kilmore Ford and Kilmore 4×4 Extras at last weekend’s game.
“It was a great day with a huge crowd all showing their faces to meet the new sponsors and see their fantastic quality cars the Ford Rapture and Toyota Cruiser parked in view of the game,” De Battista said.
“We had a lovely experience with the junior teams walking out our senior teams and cheer them on as both teams came away with a victory!
“We would like to thank Kilmore Ford and Kilmore 4×4 Extras for their hard work and continuing support. Their contributions help to make our club feel like home.”
Women’s State League 4 North
The Women’s team travelled to Keon Park on Sunday for round 9. Though they fought hard against a tough side, Keon Park won the game by three goals, with the Rangers 0.
Next week the team will travel to play Docklands.
U9’s Mitchell Rangers
The U9’s team played an intra club derby. Captained by Mitransh, the Green team boasted a four point half-time victory. James K ended the day with three and Guram two. A special mention to Henry in goals for the first time with a clear sheet.
Player, Kane De Battista said it was an exciting clash, with the Gold team missing a couple of close chances.
“The mighty Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club today got to see the talent of the Under 9s of the local area with a local derby between the Under 9s Green vs the Under 9s Gold. With the sun out but a cool breeze, it was always going to be a good day for it,” he said.
At the final siren the score was 7–0, in favour of the Green team.
