It was a disastrous weekend for the Mitchell Rangers Soccer who conceded 15 goals across their men’s and women’s sides.
The women took on first placed Hume City FC who are undefeated and conceded nine goals to one.
The men’s team played second placed Greenvale United who have only taken two losses for the season so far.
Their game was gettable at half time with Greenvale only two goals up, but it was a trainwreck in the second half which saw another four goals, leaving the score at 6-0.
The men’s side sit second last above the winless Footscray side, while the girls sit eighth in their 10-team competition with two wins for the year so far.
