Men’s Health Week has begun, and the Medibank Live Better bus is on its way.
Urging everyone, and particularly men, to “Step-up for your check-up”, the bus will provide a free and comprehensive health check in less than five minutes.
The bus is fitted out with a SiSU Health Station which checks BMI, blood pressure, body fat percentage, diabetes risk, heart rate, height, smoking status, stress, and weight – all which may assist in the early detection of diseases, and the prevention of serious illnesses.
With a simple design that is easy to use and navigate, the SiSU Health Station can be used by anyone of any age or background. For a digital copy of the check-up, results can be emailed or imported via the SiSU Health app onto patients’ phones, should they choose this option.
Since its launch in 2014, the SiSU Health Station has performed over 4 million health checks across the world and has been accredited as an IIa medical device.
The brilliant red van will be parked at three Mitchell Shire locations during the week and will make its first stop in Kilmore tomorrow.
