EarthChat has been a regular program on SeymourFM for around seven years but has now made the jump to Spotify for greater accessibility.
Produced and presented by BEAM Mitchell Environment Group, it features entertaining and informative conversations on a wide range of environmental issues, everything from forest protection to waste reduction, to climate change adaptation.
Now featuring on Spotify, listeners have another way to tune in and engage in conversations on the environment.
EarthChat goes to air on SeymourFM at midday on Tuesdays and at 8am on Saturdays but presenter Marie Gerrard said she recognised that those times did not always suit people who wanted to listen in.
“We think that being on Spotify and other podcasting platforms gives our many supporters and listeners extra flexibility as to when they listen in,” she said.
“It also means that they can recommend the show to friends and colleagues, even those outside Mitchell Shire.”
