Kilmore Fire Brigade had a successful Good Friday campaign for 2024 thanks to the efforts of many volunteers from around town.
The group raised $15,690.05 through its door-knocking efforts with the help of members of Kilmore CFA, Kilmore Scouts, SES and a range of other community groups who gave their time to assist with the fundraising efforts.
Organiser Garry Callinan also thanked Seymour Coaches for providing a bus to transport the volunteers, as well as Kemps Bakery, Kilmore Charcoal Chicken and Kebabs, and the Kilmore Pizza House for keeping everyone fed.
3764 Ice Cream also donated 50 per cent of the day’s profits to the Good Friday Appeal.
This year’s total did not surpass last year’s record-breaking $16,951.65 effort but was still a considerable contribution to the cause.
