Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival tickets on sale

Popular Stories

TICKETED events are now on sale for the upcoming Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival, with a range of activities lined up across the shire for the event’s return in April.

The festival is an annual celebration of the Macedon Ranges’ food, wine, arts and culture scene in addition to the range of vibrant gardens and autumn leaves the area is known for at this time of year.

Macedon Ranges Shire Council Mayor Annette Death encouraged residents and visitors to start planning their itineraries and discover something new.

“We really are spoilt for choice when it comes to the shires’ diversity of local wares, the producers behind them and our natural surroundings – the autumn festival puts the spotlight on all of these,” she said.

“We are so grateful to all of our festival partners – Kyneton on Riverside, Riddells Creek Nursery, Bendigo Bank, the Victorian Government and all of our other local businesses involved – for their support in enabling us to plan a jam-packed program of trails and events.”

A new addition to the 2023 festival are the Autumn Tipple Trails, which includes the Tipple Train Trail designed for visitors to leave their car at home, board the train and explore a range of bars within walking distance to each of the stops.

A Tarts and Tipples Passport will also be on offer, encouraging visitors to taste their way through the region and collect stickers as they go, allowing them to enter a competition to win a getaway in the Macedon Ranges.

Returning events include three First Nations events, the Autumn Gardens Trail, Pie and Tart Trail, Edgy Vege Trail, Gardener Puppets, and a range of artistic workshops.
