Kilmore District Health, KDH, is on the hunt for a new chief executive after the resignation of Arish Naresh.
Mr Naresh started in the role in May last year, following the resignation of David Naughton in October 2021.
Interim chief executive Jen Gilham said the Kilmore District Health Board regretted that Mr Naresh had resigned from his position to concentrate on his rehabilitation following an ongoing injury.
“Arish has said that it was a very difficult decision given his love for the work he does and how he has enjoyed his time at Kilmore District Health,” she said.
Ms Gilham has stepped up from her usual role of deputy chief executive to the role of interim chief executive.
Board chair Gillian Leach said the board and staff thanked Mr Naresh for his work and wished him well in his recovery and future.
Ms Leach said the board appreciated having someone of Ms Gilham’s capability and experience to continue the leadership at KDH.
