Seymour Performers Workshop is working on its production of Annie and is looking for keen performers to take part.

The production, originally planned for November 2021 but postponed, will see some returning cast members from last year, as well as new members of the community for 2022.

Show director Peter Read said the workshop was keen to hear from any performers across the region.

“We’re looking for a large cast of performers of all ages including girls ranging in ages six to 15 to play the orphans,” he said.

“Many of our cast from last year are back on board again but we are also keen to hear from other members of the community who would like to be involved.”

A range of opportunities are also available for those who do not wish to perform, including backstage, technical, and front of house production crews.

The workshop’s production of Annie will be performed at Seymour Community Arts Centre from November 12 to 20.

Auditions for cast members will be on June 19 at the Les Bell Pavilion at Seymour’s Kings Park.
