Seymour car show set to return

Popular Stories

SEYMOUR’S Kings Park will next month host its annual Show ‘n’ Shine event, bringing together car enthusiasts and the community after extended separation.

Hosted by the Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn in conjunction with Seymour and District Car Club, the event will feature a car show, swap meet and market, as well as live entertainment, food stalls, displays and children’s entertainment.

It will be the second time the Show ‘n’ Shine event is held after it was cancelled in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Included on the day will be a raffle drawn at midday and a trophy presentation for show cars, as well as displays from the heritage society. An auction will also feature on the day – a popular part of the event in 2020.

The Show ‘n’ Shine event will be from 8am on March 14, the Labor Day public holiday. Stall holders are required to arrive at 6am and there will be a $10 cost for all display cars including their occupants.

A gold coin donation is required for spectator entry. Money raised by the event will go back to the Lions Club to be used for future events.
